Gelderland is the largest province in the Netherlands, known for the Nijmegen Four Days Marches and the Dutch Open Air Museum. Overijssel is the province of the unique Giethoorn, amusement park Slagharen and the Weerribben. Gelderland and Overijssel are also the provinces of electric driving. Within these provinces, residents and visitors can charge their electric cars at a public charging station. Together with the participating municipalities, we are fully committed to electric driving - a step towards fossil-free living.

You can request a public charging station if:

  • You live or work in one of the affiliated municipalities in the provinces Gelderland or Overijssel.
  • You have an electric car or plug-in hybrid.
  • Your car has a minimum driving range of 45 kilometers (according to European Type Approval).
  • Your car is a passenger car (type M1) or a delivery van (N1 or N2) and you can demonstrate this with a (provisional) purchase or lease agreement.
  • You do not have your own site where a charging point can be placed. This includes: a garage or driveway, the possibility to buy a parking space at your house, or renting a VVE parking garage.
